Frequently Asked Questions

Still have a question? Email us!

Q. How do I know if I can use my child's car seat or booster seat on an airplane?

A. Not all Child Restraint Systems (CRS) are approved for air travel. Check your child's seat to see if it says it is approved for both vehicle and air travel. For additional details please visit this link to the FAA's website. Here they discuss flying with children. www.faa.gov/passengers/fly_children/

Q. My child's car seat won't fit in my airplane. She is still too small for the lap belt and shoulder harness. Are there other options available that are approved by the FAA?

A. Yes! There is a child harness that can be installed in an aircraft and will properly restrain a young child in the seat. To learn more about this harness please visit this link to the FAA's website. www.faa.gov/passengers/fly_children/
